If you have reported to the police then they will take the necessary next investigative steps.
If you have made the report to Report & Support the report will be picked up and reviewed by one of our Safeguarding Officers. They will triage the case and determine if there is a concern that needs to be addressed. If you supply your details, they may contact you to make sure they have all the information they need to properly review the case. If you are making a referral about somebody else, it is likely that we will not be able to tell you the outcome, as it will be confidential to the person involved, but your help is essential to us, so please do make a report. Please be reassured that this process is all about supporting and helping our students and staff.
